7 meals in 3 hours..the reality!

Well, we did it! And it was fun. And productive. And satisfying.

We wanted to know if it would work. It DID. Yay, God!

Our refrigerators are full, our freezers are stocked and we know what we are having for dinner for the next 7 nights. That in itself is cause for celebration....

We are looking forward to launching this at LCC in the coming days, and wanted to share what we learned for our first time attempt.

-The kitchen is hot. Wear a bikini. OR a short sleeved shirt....

-Park at the back door by the nursery and use the cart to carry in your stuff.

-Chopping boards/mats would be a great item to bring.

-Gallon size ziplocs are your friend. Bring a whole box.

-The handles on the stock pots at LCC are NOT insulated. They get HOT. Do not pick up a pot without a mitt. (See Jodi's right hand for more details)

-If you can pre-cook your chicken and beef, do so.

-6 is an ideal group number. Not a person more. Groups of 4-6 are probably going to work the best.

-Did we mention that it gets HOT in the kitchen?

-Rita is going to take a group and do Weight Watchers friendly cooking.

Stay tuned for upcoming information on the next Food For the Soul night.
